What do you do with a nicotine gum that’s like every other nicotine gum? You create a brand that gives smokers a unique voice. A brand that makes every cigarette not smoked a victory.
Reynolds American came to us with a piece of gum and a blank sheet of paper. In turn, we created and launched ZONNIC. The work included Position, Television, Brand Identity, Packaging, Social, Digital, POS materials, Radio and everything else in between.

Over a 10-year-period, I served as both brand/design consultant and in-house as Creative Director with Photonica, the Japanese Photo House (since acquired in North America by Getty Images.) During that time I curated and designed the very first catalog for the North American market, as well as the last – with many, many in between. I oversaw the transition from catalog to digital distribution, created, named and curated the more commercially oriented sub-brand aka-photonica, coordinated, concepted and directed content creation with the sales teams, oversaw all marketing and visual presentation as well as recruiting talent for the collection.

Working closely with Ferrero’s North American CEO, I led the team that created TicTac Chill. The work included: Naming, Brand Identity, Packaging, Television and Digital executions.

CHICKEN NATURALS PROGRAM
For the better part of 5 years, I directed the in-store visual presence for Arby’s. Hundreds of different menu initiatives. Tens of thousands of mechanicals. More food shoots than I can recall. The work spanned: Brand Identity - TV – Packaging - Photo Direction - Signage – POS – and everything in between.

AVEDA ANNUAL CONGRESS – Video Opener
This video piece was created as the opening visual element for Aveda’s Annual Congress at the Minneapolis Convention Center. It was projected behind the stage on a 15’x45’ screen and received a standing ovation.

Before Flint, people thought lead poisoning was a thing of the past. Yet across the nation, 1 million children are affected by lead. The Ad Council, the EPA, HUD and the Coalition to End Childhood Lead Poisoning wanted people to pay attention and to take action. Our work included TV, Digital, Print and Out of Home executions.

Crafting a new identity for the SOHO-based Ad Agency (an Omnicom holding). If you’re going to talk the talk of branding to clients, you have to walk the walk. This complete brand system spanned Brand Identity, Digital Executions and (for lack of a better term) Schwag.
